Actions are easily assessable from the command palette. It is a user interface element that gives users quick access to most commands, actions, settings available in Goliath – use Shift+Ctrl+K (Win) or ⇧⌃K (Mac) to invoke Command Palette. The command palette lists available commands along brief descriptions and documentation links.
A list displays actions available for each component.
Components include items from the navigator such as Billing Project, Data Project, Dataset, Table, Clone, Snapshot, External Table, View, Materialized View, Scalar Function, Table Valued Function, Procedure, Model, Connections, and Cloud Storage Mode Data Project and Bucket. Each of these sections contain actions that are found in those items' context menu.
Components also include items from the top navigator menu such as Query/Script, Editor, Results, and Other. Actions listed under each of these sections are available.
Actions for Parameters and Show Options are available.
Toolbar components such as Settings and Help Guides are available.
Application actions are included under the Goliath section.
Command Actions
To invoke an action identify the command in the palette and click on the menu item.
Search Actions
All actions within the palette can be searched and the list will be filtered as a result. To search, type in input field.
Show Description
Many items are accompanied by a brief description. To view the description, toggle Show descriptions on and hover over an action to expand its description.
Descriptions include a link to a help article for further details. Click on the book icon to access the help article.
